- During the consultation we offer our expertise and discuss other factors that you may want to consider before you have a style, colour or both. We consider seasons, face shapes, hair types, colours, skin tones and even eyebrow shape, as we believe it is very important that your hair works with you as an individual, rather than rigidly following the latest fashion.
Also so that we thoroughly understand what you want from a style and you can easily visualise the choices, we take care to avoid “techno speak” and use simple descriptions, props and analogies that you can relate to. - After the consultation you are taken on a sensory journey using fragrant oils, calming music and a special scalp massage. This relaxes you and is an ideal preparation for your chosen treatment.
Aveda products and colours are then carefully selected by your stylist who will then work with your hair to carefully create the desired look. - We help to make sure your Real Hair Experience continues long after you have left by taking the time to run through a wide range of advice to prolong that salon look. This goes beyond product choice to also consider your lifestyle, so we look at hair type, nutrition and your Aveda Elemental Nature (link to elemental nature section). For instance if you swim regularly we would give you advice on what effect this could have on your hair and talk about what steps you should take to minimise any reactions.
